2006 - The Boy's Trip
Here's a larger view of the route we took on this journey...
We had originally planned to cross to Rochester, then Coburg, Oswego, and back to Kingston, but the weather changed our route. We motored out to the False Ducks to take advantage of some strong Southwesterlies, which we used to carry us to Oswego on the first night. We arrived around 10 in the morning, and then lost most of the day waiting out some darn tornadoes that touched down only a few miles from where we were tied up. After that, we sailed and had a great time. Here are the photos. Thanks to Al for taking all the pics, I didn't even get my camera out of the bag.

Tankard under full sail crossing the Lake.

A wider shot to show how beautiful the water and the weather is.

The Skipper's got her heeled over pretty good.

Crewman Al takes the helm and enjoys the big beautiful wide-open lake.

Later in the afternoon, the wind picked up, and things look more like this.
The C&C handles it well though.
